Foot Care Clinics

All appointments are by appointment only.

Our foot care nurse is highly educated, medically trained, and dedicated to providing hygienic care. She can help improve overall foot health by treating corns, calluses, and toenails.

Foot problems can often be signs of more serious medical conditions. Untreated sores or cuts, for example, can lead to serious infections. A foot care nurse can provide treatment, make referrals for additional care if needed, and assess circulation, sensation, mobility issues, and the risk of diabetic ulcers.

For more information or to book an appointment, please contact Janice at 204-883-2880.

In-home visits are also available.

Upcoming clinic dates:

St. Adolphe April 1st – 2nd & 3rd

Ile des Chenes April 14th - 15th & 17th

Ste Agathe April 23rd

Howden Hobbies

Join Us for Quilting and Knitting at Howden Community Center!

Ritchot Senior Services is excited to bring back our quilting and knitting program at the Howden Community Center this season! Enjoy the bright, open space while connecting with friends, both new and old, as we work towards meaningful goals together.

This year, we’ll be focusing on two important projects:

Lap Quilts for the Alzheimer Society

We will continue creating beautiful lap quilts to be donated to the Alzheimer Society for individuals affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia. No experience is necessary—just a willingness to help and a passion for crafting!

Knitting and Crocheting for Special Causes

We will also be knitting and crocheting items to be donated to important groups like Cancer Care and Palliative Care. Your contributions will make a real difference in the lives of those in need.

Thanks to the generous donations from our community, all supplies will be provided.

Where: Howden Community Center, 1078 Red River Drive

When: Wednesdays April 9th & 23rd

9:30a-1:00a

Enjoy coffee and tea while you’re here, and don’t forget to bring your lunch! Join fellow community members who share your passion and help us make a difference together.

Ritchot Senior Services is pleased to announce that we have received funding under the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program for our project Community Connections.

This federal grants and contributions program supports projects that are led or inspired by seniors who are making a difference in the lives of others in their communities.

The funds will be used to assist us in providing programs, activities and events.

Thank you to the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program for the funding support provided to Ritchot Senior Services.

It will make a significant difference in the lives of seniors in our community.
